Quimper Calendar Tiles

These tiles clearly were made in homage to the Jones, McDuffee & Stratton tiles.
The tile blanks appear to have been molded by hand, as they are very uneven. The art work details are unique to each tile, but the calendar is a transfer. Please help confirm the following story: According to a source at Quimper, artists would paint these small tiles with the calendar on the back and exchange them with other artists.
