1886 Trade Cards
No, this isn't a Jones, McDuffee & Stratton tradecard. It's here to
support my theory that the JMD tradecards after 1882 were preprinted
stock tradecards, customized for individual retailers. You'll
see this is the same exact front as the 1884 JMD card, and the same style
of calendar. Hard to imagine this 1880's version of Walmart - you could buy
your china and revolvers at the same store! A little web digging has turned
up the fact that this firm was located in Antigo, not Autigo. Quite the misprint,
and on both sides, too.
